If you are worried now
Contact your treating team first and describe what you have noticed and when it started. If the team cannot be reached, call the hospital main line. For a red-flag symptom — a breast that is red and hot, a fever, an open wound, breathlessness or chest pain — go to the nearest emergency department rather than waiting for a reply. This website is not an emergency channel and is not monitored as one.
Arranging an assessment
Implant problems are assessed in the outpatient clinic of the Deputy Director & Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics · Attending Physician, Licensed Aesthetic Attending at Chongqing West District Hospital, 301 Huafu Avenue North Section, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. Call the outpatient line, or use the channel described on the appointments page, and say that you are asking about a breast implant so that the right clinic time is booked.
What to bring
Bring any implant record or device card you were given, the date and place of your original operation, and any imaging you have had. Bring a list of your medication, including anything that affects clotting. If you have photographs from before and after the original operation, they are genuinely useful, because they show change over time rather than how things look today.
What the assessment covers
Both breasts are examined, because a change is judged against the other side. Firmness, shape, implant position, the scar, the skin and any lump are recorded, and a view is formed on the capsule. Imaging is arranged or reviewed where it is needed. You should leave with a clear answer to four things: what the finding is, whether it needs treatment now, what the options are, and what happens if you choose to wait.
Fees, records and privacy
This site does not quote prices, because the plan depends on the findings and is discussed directly at consultation. Device details are recorded so that the information follows you if you move. Clinical photographs and imaging are taken for planning and follow-up, and are not published or used for teaching without a separate consent you are free to refuse.
